Seiko contacted to design and develop a website to promote their new line of Astron watches. I created a Sweepstakes site for Seiko where visitors could sign up, explore the new watch, and have a chance to win the ultimate travel package.

Seiko introduced their first GPS Solar watch, Seiko Astron. As one of their breakthrough timepieces, it ushers in a new age of timekeeping technology. To help promote their new line of Astron watches I created a Sweepstakes website. Users could learn more about the new watch and also share via social media for a chance to win additional prizes from Seiko’s partners.
INTEGRATING SOCIAL
The main objective was to increase social following on Facebook. The “Join the Seiko Nation” button was clear and bold, enticing users to join their page before entering the sweepstakes. Seiko also partnered with several luxury good companies for users an opportunity to win the ultimate travel prize packages. I created a detailed, informational section to promote Seiko’s partners products gaining more exposure.
IMPACT
The Sweepstakes created lots of buzz over the new watch and generated over 100k likes on Seiko Nation’s Facebook Page. The response from their Facebook page was overwhelming positive and continues to grow.
